Asset Creator Guide

Welcome to the Asset Creator Guide,
a guide for asset creators on how to optimize and upload their amazing assets on CartographyAssets.

Optimizing assets
The first step in the process is to optimize your asset so that it is easy for users to use. How? Easy! First off, make sure your asset has a clear folder structure that fits how the end user is going to use the asset. If you have created an asset for let's say Wonderdraft, it is a good idea to structure it so that can be dragged and dropped into the main folder and work right away. If you have assets for Photoshop, you might want to have a different folder structure.

If your asset is made for software supported by our asset manager Mythkeeper, it is a good idea to make it compatible with the asset manager. That way it is easier for the end-user to use your asset. It is not only easier for them, but also saves you time helping out users with problems during installation of assets.

Optimized your asset for Mythkeeper?
Be sure to tick the box during the upload process!

Uploading assets
To upload your asset simply click on Add Asset and fill in as much information as you can.
You should always try to add enough detail on with things like what the asset includes (including previews), whether or not it can be used commercially and how to install the asset.

Some good examples include:
Templates
To make your asset page more visually pleasing you can add headers, previews, images and of course text.

Your T23 Banners pack, and your T23's Candles and Lanterns pack have the same Pack ID. This means that only one of them will show up in the list.

Hi, I was considering using some of your water paths for my maps, but I share them on Patreon and offer commissions so they'd be commercial. I was just wondering if you had a license for them or something along those lines?
